On December 17, 2020, we - Sebastian, Severin, Engelhelma and Florian Imseng - founded Schreinerei Mischabel AG.
Our company is built on two historical pillars.
The first pillar is our grandfather Erich Imseng, who set up a carpentry in Saas-Fee back in 1950. His four sons all became carpenters and followed in his footsteps. The business was later run by our father, Kurt Imseng. Sadly, in 2011 we had to say goodbye to our father and grandfather.
In the years that followed, the paths of Schreinerei Imseng AG and ourselves began to diverge.
The second pillar was established by Hans-Rüedi Anthamatten. He founded the Schreinerei Anthamatten AG carpentry in Saas-Almagell.
Following his death, his son Fernando took over the company. He was also Florian's apprenticeship teacher.
In 2020, the opportunity arose for us to set up and build our own company in the premises of the former carpentry Anthamatten.
Based on these two pillars, we can say that we have inherited a love of wood and its processing over generations.
We are very pleased that we can continue the tradition in the woodworking industry with the founding of the Mischabel AG.

We are constantly striving to develop ourselves further so that we can continuously improve our products and services.
Works of lasting value are created from natural materials. That is why we have to work on client projects with precision and good ideas.
2020

2021
We invested in new machines right at the start. We replaced the outdated wide belt sander, the edge banding machine and the circular saw.
In spring, we officially started.
2022
The outdated CNC of our predecessor was replaced by a machine of the latest generation.
New planning software was purchased to make planning more efficient. This enables 3D visualization and a direct connection to the new CNC.
2023
In spring, we expanded our vehicle fleet with an electric vehicle. This now enables us to serve our clients in Saas-Fee even better and more efficiently.
We welcomed our first apprentice to the team.
Every employee has been equipped with a tablet, meaning that operations are now virtually paperless. All plans and necessary information can be found on it.

Our name
When we wanted to set up our own carpentry, we were looking for a suitable name. As we have strong ties to our home region, we had the inspiring idea of naming the new company after one of the mountains. Our home town of Saas-Fee lies at the foot of the Mischabel mountain chain, which is known far and wide.
Our logo was also inspired by the mountains. Three mountains and a tree adorn our company logo.
